John Lambert inducted to Order of Prometheus

August 28, 2018

On Thursday, August 28th, Nexutech Vice President John Lambert was recognized for his work in support of the unmanned systems community by the AUVSI Pathfinder Chapter during an awards banquet held on the last day of that group’s annual event in Huntsville, Alabama.

AUVSI, the Association for Unmanned Vehicle Systems International, is the world’s largest nonprofit organization devoted exclusively to advancing the unmanned systems and robotics community. The Order of Prometheus Medallion recognizes the significant and enduring contributions of inductees to the unmanned systems community. Inductees must have exemplified the highest ideals, aspirations and accomplishments in order to receive the honor.

Mr. Lambert joins a select group of individuals who have dedicated a significant portion of their career to support the continued growth of unmanned systems applications and operations in the U.S. John Lambert previously served on the AUVSI national Board of Directors before being elected Chairman of the Board. Beginning in 1989, AUVSI’s Pathfinder Chapter has held its signature event each year for the sole purpose of raising money to fund regional robotic education programs. The venue for 2018 was the U.S. Space and Rocket Center, and the event again included many distinguished representatives from around the nation.
