Public Safety
Nexutech enjoys longstanding and close relationships with the vital public safety community. Jay Willmott is a plank holder and current Advisory Board member for DRONERESPONDERS, an organization that Nexutech helped found. Mr. Willmott also conceived VIPC’s Public Safety Innovation Center (PSIC) as a means of nurturing emerging technologies to fulfill unique public safety requirements. Nexutech recognizes that PS is a cornerstone of every community, and also an important tie to legislators and policymakers.
our value for public safety
Nexutech leadership founded DRONERESPONDERS Public Safety Alliance to drive collaboration between drone ecosystem players and public agencies for policy alignment.
We conceived the Public Safety Innovation Center to demonstrate cutting-edge UAV technologies that fulfill future operational requirements of police, fire and EMT agencies.
Through longstanding relationships across local, state and federal public safety agencies, we identify challenges amenable for drone capabilities like pursuits, hazmat assessments, search/rescue.
Nexutech facilitates discussions to develop sound state drone policies for security, disaster response and investigations. We also enable procurement and integration of customized UAV platforms, sensors, analytics and training tailored to agency missions nationwide.

Nexutech understands the specialized challenges public safety agencies face integrating UAVs for security, disaster response, and investigative operations.
