Mr. Wright has more than 35 years of experience in military Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance (ISR) operations, systems development and program management.  His active duty Air Force and Joint experience includes serving as the first commander of the Distributed Common Ground Station (DCGS) and as Deputy, Collections Management, US European Command.  


Following his retirement from the Air Force he served 10 years as a Boeing-Autometric Senior Program Manager with the Air Combat Command Directorate of Requirements for unmanned systems (ACC/A8U), where he supervised SETA support for the Predator and Global Hawk development and acquisition programs.


Mr. Wright then took a position in International Business Development with L-3 Communications, working on the L-3 effort to support the Australian Air Program 7000 requirements for a high altitude / long endurance (HALE) unmanned collection capability  and a distributed analysis and exploitation facility.


He spent one year as the Director of Strategic Planning for BOSH Global Services, an 8A Small Business providing a wide spectrum of end-to-end UAS capabilities in communications, training and operations.


Now President of Freelance Consultants, LLP and a Nexutech Associate specializing in Air Force ISR and UAS Programs he lives in Yorktown, Virginia.  Mr. Wright has twice served two year terms as President of the Hampton Roads Chapter of AUVSI and was also on the AUVSI Board of Directors from 2006 to 2009.
