Mr. Kleiner participated in numerous Autonomous Underwater Vehicle (AUV) and Autonomous Surface Vehicle (ASV) projects for government agencies, academic institutions, and the offshore oil & gas industry. He possesses more than thirty years of experience managing ocean mapping projects and has an established track record of securing contracts and coordinating funding strategies.
Art studied Engineering, Geology, and Oceanography at Louisiana State University and holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Administration and Finance from the University of Louisiana at Lafayette. Mr Kleiner is a Board Member of The Hydrographic Society of America and received his Hydrographer Certificate from the National Society of Professional Surveyors. He is a former President of the Gulf Coast Chapter of The Hydrographic Society of America, and a former U.S. Branch Trustee of The International Hydrographic Society.
Mr. Kleiner has authored several papers on unmanned maritime vehicle systems. His professional affiliations include the Marine Technology Society, the American Geophysical Union, the Society of American Military Engineers, the Association of Petroleum Surveying & Geomatics, and the Association for Unmanned Vehicle Systems International.
